Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  I' m back to share my second layout created for 2Crafty Chipboard.

Soft colors adorn this layout from the background paper with added distress stains, stamping and paint splatters.  Touches of  detailed chipboard encircle the photo, a picture of my friend's beautiful daughter.
I used paper and embellishments from Prima Marketing Zella Teal.

The Celebration Swirls and 6" Circle Dot Frame were embossed teal.  The Decorative Disc Set 1 and Foliage Set 3 embossed gold.  Gold microbeads were added to the Celebrations Swirls.

Here you can see more of the Foliage Set 3 and Celebration Swirls.

Beauty - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  It's that time of the month when I get to share my layouts I created for 2Crafty Chipboard!

I love this time of the year.  Usually the temps are on the cool side and the leaves are changing colors,  but so far we've had an unseasonably warm Autumn.  Thoughts of Autumn past spun around in my head and lead to me create this layout featuring a picture of my grandmother.  I was also inspired by the October Challenge at Words &  Paintery.  Love the deep rich colors of their challenge, the gold in particular as it reminds me of the changing leaves that come in Autumn.   I added several colors of distress stain to my background paper along with some stamping, micro beads and glass glitter.

I love the detailed Marianne's Butterfly.  I embossed it with some Nutmeg embossing powder and added paprika, twig  and gold micro beads.

Lots of warms Autumn colors.  The Corner Vine Leaves embossed with Sage embossing powder,  the Large Leafy Vine embossed dark brown and beneath them I used the Corner Lorena, embossed with an antique teal powder.

Tucked under my photo I used the Large Leafy Vine, Corner Vine Leaves and Mini Flourish Bits, and my title is from the Mini Word Set 1.

Dream - The International Scrapbook Garden

Hi everyone!  I'm back  today sharing my second layout created from the
Garden Kit, Sunkissed, by The International Scrapbook Garden.

I used a floral mask from my stash and added a few drops of the Lindy's Hisbiscus Rose Flat Fabio Spray to some modeling paste on the background.  I love the beautiful papers in the kit by Lemoncraft!

I added some of the Lindy's spray to some watered down white paint and added paint splatters to the background.  Flowers used are from the main kit and the Extra Blooms Kit.

I did a lot of fussy cutting of flowers from some of the papers in the kit to add some layers behind the photo.

Here you can see more of the layering with the cut flowers, along with a butterfly and Dream badge from  the Embellishment Bonus Kit.  You can check out the full contents of the Sunkissed Garden kit here.

Always - The International Scrapbook Garden

Hi everyone!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  It's more like summer here in Maryland, very humid and on the warm side.  Sure doesn't feel like October.  I've have some exciting news to share with you today.  There is a new kit club in town, The International Scrapbook Garden, which offers 3 different types of kits and lots of numerous add on kits.  All papers in the kits are from international paper companies. Some of them as we know are hard to get here in the US.  I'll be guest designing for them using their Garden Kit.  You can view all of the current Garden Kit, Sunkissed here.  It is packed with papers from Lemoncraft.

I've created a layout for a dear friend of mine.  The background paper  by Lemoncraft is part of the Bonus Paper Kit.   I love to fussy cut paper to add layers and dimension to my layout.

Here's a closeup of some of the flowers in the Main kit and Extra Blooms Kit.  I used the Lindy's Spray and 13 Arts paint from the Mixed Media Bonus Kit to create splatters on the background.  I also used the 13 Arts paint to cover the chipboard title and flourishes on my layout.

Here you can see I've fussy cut some flowers and  added them to my layers.

More layering using the Embellishment Bonus Kit.
