"Christmas Joy" Featuring Blue Fern Studios Vintage Christmas

Hi everyone!  The month has flown by and I've been busy preparing for Christmas. Still lots to do but somehow it always comes together.   Today I have a layout to share that I created with the Vintage Christmas paper collection by Blue Fern Studios.

My first layout features Magical, Deck The Halls, Noel and Greeting Cards papers,  perfect to highlight an old Polaroid picture of my daughter. Lots of layering and fussy cutting.

I used the two pieces of the Paisley and Vine Flower Chipboard which I embossed with the Imagine Ink Poinsettia Embossing Powder.  Love the red and gold in the powder!

On the side of my photo I used the Jasmine Pendant chipboard, again embossed with the Poinsettia embossing powder.

Don't you just love the paper!!  Beautiful colors and details.  I'll be back in a couple of days to share another layout with you.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Holidays!!!

Oh the beautiful projects you will be able to create with this collection.

Introducing Timeless, a gorgeous ten-page collection is printed on our popular heavy-weight paper that will
stand up to wet media and all the embellishments you want to add.  You will love the rich colors combined with striking backgrounds for contrast.  Beautiful images from nature are combined with elegant script for a nostalgic, ageless feel.

Blue Fern Studios December Sketch Challenge

Can you believe that it's December already???  My how this year has flown by.  Trying to get my ducks in a row for Christmas.  It will be here before you know it!  It's time for another new sketch challenge over at Blue Fern Studios and Michele Singh has created another beautiful sketch exclusively for Blue Fern for December.   Here is my take on the  sketch using papers from the new Vintage Christmas collection featuring Blue Fern Studios Chipboard, Imagine Ink Mists, Glitter and Embossing Powders.

I will share more details on my layout with you on the 16th.
And here is the December sketch:

The sketch challenge rules:

One lucky winner, selected by a random draw, will receive a prize package of Blue Fern Studios chipboard!
In addition, we will also select 3 (or more) layouts to feature.
We have just a few simple rules to follow if you would like to participate in our sketch challenge:
1.) Feel free to interpret the sketch as you please by means of taking it as-is or
flipping/turning/mirroring it to suit your needs!
2). Please note that you can do whatever type of project you please - a layout, card,
canvas, altered item- whatever suits your mood and style!
We would love to see the different ways our sketch can be used.
3.) You must use at least one piece of Blue Fern Studios chipboard OR use Blue Fern Studios paper on your project. Please note that you do not need to use the pieces featured in the sketch
- use whatever suits your fancy! You can find the store nearest you HERE.
 {Do not use any other brand of chipboard on your project please!}
4.) Upload your project using the Inlinkz tool on the Blue Fern Studios Blog
