My how time flies . . .

Hard to believe that two weeks have passed by since I posted a layout.  Sometimes life gets busy and my crafty time gets put on the back burner.  We had a spell of extreme heat that seemed like it would never end, along with some powerful storms that resulted in a loss of electricity for a few days.  I've totally neglected my flower gardens and the weeds have taken over.  Cooler temps have arrived and I've been busy outside tending to the weeds.  I've also been working on getting my scrapbook room better organized.  It seems like an endless job and I've been amazed at what I have come across that was purchased years ago.  Hoping to get a little pile together for a giveaway soon.  I do have a layout to share today that I created using the July kit  and sketch from Artful Delight and another cute picture of little miss Zoey and her first bike.

Here is the July sketch:
Create a layout using the sketch for a chance to win the August kit.

Just a few close ups:
Here I used My Favorite Things Die-namics Wonky Scallop Border die

and Martha Stewart's border punch Botanical Scallop.

There are still a few scrapbook and card kits to purchase over at Artful Delight.  You can check them out here.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer.  It's hard to believe that it's July already.  As I said in my title "My how time flies . . ."
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a wonderful page Debbie!
I just love this!
Great little additions! Things have been so go-go in my house. Mostly with family activities and get aways. So crafty has almost not happened. We're hanging out at my Mom's and as much as the total break of doing much is wonderful, I know my craft room is calling to me...
So I understand how your yard is needing tending, stuff needs cleaned, etc.
I just personally think life is REALLY rude for getting in the way of crafting! Humph!
=)

Debbie, what a wonderful layout -- so pretty, colorful and laid out. The scalloped lacy edge really just sets the design off!

Yes, life can catch up to you when least expected; it did me.
