The hop begins today and runs through Thursday, 2/16 noon (CST). We are combining this blog hop with our Fabulous Friday Challenge which is use the word LOVE on your project.
I chose to scrap a picture I took of a little bird's nest I found in my Crepe Myrtle this past summer. I used various bits and pieces of Crate Paper collections.
As you hop along the designer's blogs, you will be given a word or two. Combine the words to complete a phrase and email it to Diana at firstname.lastname@example.org, for a chance to win a prize package from Vintage Street Market.
Create a project using the word LOVE for our Fabulous Friday Challenge and link it to the Frosted Designs post for a chance to win a prize from Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits.
Now I have a little RAK to offer just for visiting my blog. Leave me a comment and become a follower if you aren't already one, you also need to be a follower of Frosted Designs, and you will have a chance to win this:
I will pick a winner on Thursday, February 16th!
Now I guess you are wondering what my word is- - DESIGNS
A week ago I won a RAK from Jennifer over at Scrapping Daze filled with Pink Paislee's Vintage Vouge goodies. My package arrived the other day and as soon as I opened it I knew I had to do a layout of my Grandmother. I was visiting some sketch sites and came across a sketch at Let's Capture These Sketches and knew when I saw it I was going to use it for my layout.
Here's the lovely sketch #118 from Let's Capture These Sketches:
and a few close ups from my layout:
Don't forget tomorrow is the start of Frosted Designs "Love Is In The Air" blog hop! We've got lots for you to look at and plenty of chances to win some wonderful prizes! Hope you can join us!

It's been awhile since I joined in on a challenge over at Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays and thought it was time to jump back in. While I was going through my stash I came across some papers and embellishments from Pink Paislee's Soiree collection and I had a picture of my niece from her first birthday sitting on my desk for awhile. I also love the Workout #61 over at ScrapFIT, to use white as your background and build your layout from there. Two great challenges, some bright colorful paper, lots of layering and a sweet picture makes for a fun layout!
From the looks of the picture you'd think it was my daughter's birthday as she is the one blowing out the candle for my niece.
I had a wonderful sketch to work with
designed by Jenny from the Fabulous Friday team.
It feels good to dig into my stash and use products I'd forgotten I had.
Hope you have time to join in the challenge at Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays. Stop on over and get some inspiration from the DT and create a project using Jenny's sketch for a chance to win Artful Delight's February kit:
The February kit contains lot of goodies from Little Yellow Bicycle's new collection Paradise.

I can't believe it's February already. We are half way through winter and have had only a sprinkling of snow. Tuesday and Wednesday it felt like spring with temps in the 60's!
I've been busy creating using the Feburary kit from Artful Delight which went on sale yesterday. Such a cute kit, packed with Little Yellow Bicycle, Jillibean Soup and Simple Stories.
I chose to scrap about my dog Zoey again. I forgot that I had taken an adbundance of pictures of her over the years.
She was just a baby in these pictures! Give her a stick and she is one happy little girl!
I used a combination of LYB Paradise collection and Jillibean Soup Sweet and Sour collection and Artful Delight's February sketch to create my layout.
You can check out the contents of Artful Delight's Scrapbook kit here and place an order.
The February card kit has already sold out, but if you would like to preorder one, email Leeanne at Leeanne@artfuldelight.com. You can check out the contents of the card kit here.
